  3. What do you do for fun? Tell people about Jesus ,and watch my son's race go karts.
  4. Tell us about your family. I'm Doug Collins I do home improvement and preach and teach and tell anyone I meet about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am married to my beautiful wife Shaun and we have been married 32 years. She is a full time homemaker and mother to our new soon to be adopted 8 month baby girl Chloe Lynn. We have a 23 year old daughter Cati Jo who is a assistant manager at Wilson Bank and Trust, sings in our family worship band, and she is married to our son in law Charlie Booher. He manages Five Oaks golf course. We have Twin 19 year old boys Cale and Cole. Cale works in home improvement, bodywork, plays drums in our family worship band, and at our church Crossroads Fellowship. Cole works in home improvement, bodywork, plays guitar in our family worship band, and plays at our church Crossroads fellowship.
  5.  What is your life verse? 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold All things have become new.
  6.  Tell us a funny story from  your childhood. I once was fishing on a dock and the fish pulled my fishing pole in the water and I lost it. Two months later I went fishing at the same spot and caught my pole with the same fish on it.
  7. What would you love to do as a career?
    To work for Jesus full time wherever, and do, whatever he wants me to do.
  8. What do you love about XRoads? I believe That God is on the move.
    That we truly love people and that it's a hospital for sick and a refuge for the lost and the broken. It is a place where the Holy Spirit has freedom to do what he wants to do, and the pastor's love God and love people.

  9.  How long have you been at XRoads? We have been there for Over two years now
  10. Where would you go if you could? Anywhere the Lord wants me to!

Where are you from? Good Ole Lebanon, TN (Pronounced “Lebnen”)​
What is your Favorite Restaurant?
It’s a tie between the Sunflower Bakehouse in Nashville, or Bangkok Pad Thai in Lebanon
What do you do for fun? I love running with the X-Roads Crusaders whenever possible, and camping/exploring with my family
Tell us about your family? My wonderful husband Brannon and I have four awesome kids: Jake, Kennedy, Nora and Travis

What would you say is your life verse? This verse has seen me through a lot of life’s seasons: Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens”
Tell us a funny story from your childhood: I got into trouble once for trying to play “hairdresser” with my little brother (who was around 5 years old at the time), using an electric screwdriver…He claims that is the cause of his bald spots as an adult, but I’m not sure that’s true.
What is your career? I am serving as a Second Lieutenant in the Air National Guard as a Public Affairs Officer, and I own Raven Security and Traffic Control, LLC. On rare days off, I work as a substitute teacher for Wilson County Schools.

What do you love about Xroads? I love the community that loves without judgement, I love the message that has depth, meaning and is theologically sound. It’s an amazing place to belong!
 How long have you been at Xroads?
We have only been here for 6 months, but we feel like family!

Where would you go if you could? I love traveling anywhere I haven’t been before, but I would most love to visit the Patmos Island in Greece.

Where are you from? I grew up in Lebanon  
What is your favorite restaurant? 
Mangoes Mexican restaurant in Lebanon
What do you do for fun? I enjoy hiking
Tell us about your family. I'm married to the beautiful Brandy Freeman and we have 7 kids between the two of us ranging from ages 8 to 24. We also have 2 amazing grandchildren. There's never a dull moment!
What would you say is your life verse?  Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
What's a funny story from your childhood?  I was always in trouble as a kid. One time I was accused of putting graffiti on the back of a building. Just about the time I had convinced my Dad that it wasn't me, he saw a small doodle of said graffiti at the top of my jeans. Needless to say, that didn't end well for me. 
What do you do for a career? 
I am in the pest control business.
What do you love about Crossroads Fellowship?  I love that Crossroads is ministry minded and the focus is on bringing people to a relationship with Christ.
How long have you been at Xroads? My family and I have been at Xroads for 3 years.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?  I would love to tour Italy some day, but am content with Olive Garden for now.

​What is your favorite Restaurant? Olive Garden
What do you do for fun? I run for fun!

What is your "life verse"?
I would have to say that my life verse is Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
 
What's a funny story from your childhood?
On Halloween one year, I threw eggs at someone that later in life became a good friend.
Tell us about your family.  I have 5 children.  Emily lives in Austin Texas, Ashley lives in Brentwood, Jimmy lives in White Bluff, McKenzie and Elijah are currently living in Alabama.  I have 3 grandkids.  Oliver, Bayleigh, and Isaiah and I've been married to my smokin hot wife Vanessa for 23 years!
If you could have any career, what would it be?  I'd be retired. LoL.
How long have you been at Xroads?  My family and I started attending Crossroads Fellowship around 10 years ago.
What do you love about Xroads?  I love that there is zero judgement at Xroads!
If you could go anywhere, where would you go? I would love to go back to Belgium

Where are you from?
I was born in Radford Virginia- The Blueridge mountains
 ​What is your favorite restaurant?
Local Joe's Cafe in Mt. Juliet
What do you do for fun?
I love to hang out with our kids and grandkids! Also, anything to do with animals and nature.
Tell us about your family.
I am married to my sweet  husband Mack.  Between us, we have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 dogs (as of today)!  We love them all to the moon and back!
​What is your favorite verse?
Psalm 46:10- Be still and know that I AM GOD
What's a funny story from  your childhood?
So there were 5 of us kids and 1 parent.  Everyone went with dad to work regardless of age or gender, and they were going to cut firewood that day.  I went to my room and fell asleep waiting on everyone,  Dad actually forgot me and I woke up with no one at home. So I decided to go looking for them.  Thankfully a neighbor noticed I was alone ( I was 5 or 6) and fed me Lil Debbie oatmeal cookies until she found them.  The whole family was out looking for me while I was eating oatmeal cookies!  
What do you want to do for a career?
I have been in the dental field, assisting people with their dental needs,  for over 30 years
What do you love about Xroads?
I LOVE CROSSROADS because everyone is real.  We are transparent here. We are those people, as Pastor Gary says!
How long have you been at Xroads?
I believe I have been attending Crossroads Fellowship for about 15 years. I came when the first addition was done.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to go to Africa on a Safari trip!

I like to work in my wood shop.

I am one of 4 children that were very loving and close.

I was married to my sweet Rose for almost 25 years before she passed. Even though I miss her terribly, I know that she is free of pain and in the presence of the Lord.
If you could go anywhere, where?
I would love to visit Rome
What's a funny story from your childhood?
While working on a farm, I jumped in a pond and got stuck head first!  It wasn't that funny at the time!
What did you do for a career?
I was a regional manager for ADT.
How long have you attended Xroads?
​I think around 11 years
What do you love about Crossroads Fellowship?
I've always loved that Pastor Gary preaches the truth of the WORD!

Where are you from?  
NASHVILLE, TN, currently live about 10 minutes from downtown Nashville.
Your favorite restaurant is?   
​Sakura's Japanese Hibachi Grill
​What do you do for fun?   I love camping and watching the Titan's Games with family and friends (esp. when all of the kids come over to watch with us!)  I enjoy hangin out with Maggie and pampering ourselves with manicures (and sometimes shopping, shhh, don't tell Mike.  Just kidding.)
 
Tell us about your family I am married to my amazing husband, Pastor Mike Spray, who is our provider, protector, and a passionate man of God.  Mike takes his role as head of the home seriously with compassion, respect and grace.
We have adult twin boys, Ryan and Patrick. Maggie (who most of you know from the Worship Team) married to Brian Heisler, Hailey (who is very well known for her obsession with "Tattoos"!)  Logan, who was our first foster child.  Logan aged out of the system and is living in Columbia, TN now, however, we talk to him on a weekly basis and still see him.  Olivia has lived with us going on four years and we obtained full custody of her about a year ago.  And, Skylynn, was our second foster child and we adopted her a year ago this past August.
What is your life verse?
  Philippians 4:12-13 "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.  I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
What's a funny story from your childhood?
When I was very young my mom was taking a trip to Miami, she told me I would be staying with my grandmother.  I asked my mom who her "ami" was and told her I wanted to meet her, (of course as a child I heard it as,
"My Ami."

What do you want to do for a career?   ​I am doing exactly what I’ve always wanted to do; be a stay at home mom and work in the children's ministry!
What do you love about Xroads? ​ There is so much about Crossroads that I love, the fellowship and family is outstanding and I am so blessed and thankful for the godly examples that have been lived out through our Pastors, staff, and church family.  Several of you may or may not know Flo Irish.  When Flo attended Crossroads (before moving out of state) her example of stepping up and beginning a class for special needs kids was an incredible gift.  You see, Hailey was a challenge for the regular Sunday school class and very challenging sitting in the sanctuary with me.  Flo saw the need and took it by the reins.  She was an incredible blessing for me, being a single mother at that time who was lost and emotionally drained, and just needed Jesus!  And even though Flo would be pouring sweat and just plain worn out from dealing with Hailey (a lot of you do not know or maybe do not remember the "Tasmanian devil", the seek and destroy child who never stopped moving that she was!) Flo did not give up and allowed me the precious, much needed and desired Worship, Praise, and teachings of God's Word!  She is an amazing woman and I think back and wonder if Flo had not been obedient to God's calling, where would I be now? Would I still be involved in church? Would I have met Mike? Would I have been a foster parent? Most importantly, would I know JESUS as my Lord and Savior?  She set the example and now Mike and I strive to do the same in the children's ministry.  We want the parents of the Little Kingdom Kids to be able to hear God's Word and to carry it home and live it out with their kids and others.  We also want our parents to feel good knowing that their children are safe, loved, "taught up" and cared for as we teach the Word of God to them.

Xroads Spotlight- Senior Pastor Gary Miller

 Where are you from?
I am an adopted child who grew up in a small East
Tennessee town called, Etowah, TN. It is 60 miles from Knoxville and 60 miles from Chattanooga. The name Etowah means “muddy water”

 What is your Favorite Restaurant?
That depends on the food to be consumed. Probably
J Alexanders at Cool Springs. I would consider a number of restaurants as my favorites.

 What do you do for fun?
I enjoy golf and tennis or spending time with my
sweet wife.

My wife and I have been married 43 years. We

have 3 children, Julie, who lives in South Georgia and is a Worship Leader at her church. Julie is married to Corey and they have 7 children. Ryan, who is our worship Pastor here at Crossroads Fellowship, is married to Kate who is
a teacher in the Lebanon School District. Ryan has 3 children. Ashley, who is a realtor in Nashville, has been in our family for 15 years. She has also served as a missionary and a Children’s Ministry director.

 Tell us a funny story from your childhood
When I was in the 5 th and 6 th grade I had

a spider monkey. (real one) I took him to school with me at the end of my 5 th grade year to meet my teacher. (It was the time we went to get our year-end report cards) I told my teacher NOT to pick him up because he could get rather nervous around other people. Well, I was correct in that prophecy because he pooped all over her dress. I grabbed him and ran out with my report card in hand. (Before she could change any grades) ha ha

 What do you love about Xroads?
There are a lot of special things about this

church that bless my life; the servant heart of the people, the passion for souls, the openness to love on people that might come from very different circumstances than their own and the love for one another that is contagious and unconditional. (a “Jesus” kind of love)

 Where would you go if you could?
I would love to go to Australia, Africa or
Iceland.

What do you do for fun?

I like to play volleyball and also take naps.
​Tell us about your family.
My family has always been diverse. Since I was a baby, I have had many family and non-family members in and out of my house. This has given me many brothers and sisters. I am very grateful for my parents as well. Words can’t describe how thankful I feel to have such an amazing family.
​Favorite Bible verse?
I would say that my favorite verse is Luke 12:22-34 because this was one of the first verses where I truly felt The Holy Spirit. This verse is the one that Terry Andrews gave me individually at Camp Jubilee. This Changed my life greatly, because it was when I surrendered to missions.
Tell us a funny Childhood memory.


Funny?  Well there was this one time that we got chased out of Palestine..
What do you want to do after school?
I am not sure, but I would love to be a missionary.
How long have you attended Xroads?
I have attended Xroads since it was at Tuckers Crossroads School, and I was in Michele Agee's stomach.
What do you love about Xroads?
I love that Xroads is one big family.
